Chinese and Kazakh Presidents Extend Congratulations on Launch of Kazakhstan Tourism Year in China

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: On Friday, Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Kazakh counterpart, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, extended congratulatory messages on the commencement of the Kazakhstan Tourism Year in China for the year 2024.
President Xi Jinping emphasized the significance of cultural exchanges and tourism cooperation as pivotal links between the peoples of China and Kazakhstan. He highlighted the upward trajectory of people-to-people exchanges between the two nations, citing milestones such as the mutual visa exemption agreement, the establishment of mutual cultural centers, the Luban Workshop, and increasing youth exchanges. President Xi expressed optimism that leveraging the Tourism Year would deepen tourism cooperation, foster closer people-to-people ties, and contribute to further strengthening China-Kazakhstan relations, aiming for another era akin to the “golden 30 years.” He underscored the importance of jointly constructing a China-Kazakhstan community with a shared future.
