Colombia Seeks to Strengthen Bilateral Business and Trade Ties with Azerbaijan
Baku, The Gulf Observer: Colombia has expressed interest in expanding bilateral business relations and establishing direct trade and economic connections with Azerbaijani entrepreneurs, as reported by News Hub Consultants.
The event featured detailed presentations on the products manufactured by local companies and entrepreneurs, highlighting their quality indicators and export potential. Visual demonstrations further emphasized the opportunities. Discussions also revolved around the activities of the Free Economic Zone and Agropark established in the city.
Colombian representatives showcased export-oriented agricultural products, including coffee, various types of flowers, organic certified dried and canned fruits, and alcoholic beverages.
Ambassador Mammad Talibov underscored the substantial potential for strengthening trade-economic relations and investment partnerships between the two nations. He highlighted Azerbaijan’s growing capabilities in the agricultural sector and non-oil industries, along with its favorable business environment, transit-logistics capabilities, and the free trade benefits offered by the Alat Free Economic Zone.
The event concluded with productive discussions aimed at enhancing economic and trade cooperation and fostering business and investment partnerships between Colombia and Azerbaijan.
