Communist Party of China Launches Party Discipline Education Campaign
Beijing, The Gulf Observer: In a concerted effort to bolster Party discipline and fortify the principles of governance within the Communist Party of China (CPC), a Party-wide campaign on Party discipline education is set to be conducted from April to July this year. This decision was formalized during a meeting of the Central Leading Group for Party Building held in Beijing on Wednesday, which received endorsement from the CPC Central Committee.
The meeting, presided over by Cai Qi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chief of the Central Leading Group for Party Building, underscored the significance of the upcoming initiative in advancing the cause of full and rigorous Party self-governance. In his address, Cai Qi emphasized the pivotal role of Party discipline in ensuring the integrity and cohesion of the CPC, stressing the need for unwavering commitment to upholding Party principles and regulations.
Li Xi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and deputy chief of the Central Leading Group for Party Building, echoed these sentiments in his remarks, emphasizing the importance of instilling a deep understanding of Party discipline among Party members and officials at all levels.
The education campaign is envisioned as a comprehensive endeavor aimed at promoting a thorough comprehension of the Regulations on CPC Disciplinary Action and raising awareness about the ramifications of breaching Party disciplinary rules. Central to the campaign’s objectives is the cultivation of a heightened sense of responsibility and adherence to Party principles among Party organizations, leading Party officials, and individual Party members.
Under the directive of the CPC Central Committee, the campaign will prioritize the study and implementation of Party disciplinary regulations, with a particular emphasis on the proactive engagement of leading officials at all levels. By fostering a culture of strict adherence to Party discipline and promoting a clear understanding of its significance, the campaign seeks to reinforce the Party’s commitment to principled governance and collective integrity.
