Continued Compassion: UAE Welcomes 8th Influx of Wounded Palestinian Children and Cancer Patients

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The eighth group of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients arrived in the UAE on Friday as part of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s directives. Aimed at providing medical treatment for 1,000 wounded children and 1,000 cancer patients from the Gaza Strip, this initiative reflects the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian aid. Departing from Al Arish International Airport, the plane carrying 28 Palestinians landed at Abu Dhabi International Airport, accompanied by 35 family members.
The Emirates News Agency (WAM) documented the arrival, with Palestinian families praising the UAE’s unique model in responding to their urgent needs. The UAE, under Operation “Gallant Knight 3,” has consistently supported Gaza, offering comprehensive initiatives. From establishing a 150-bed field hospital to launching desalination plants in Rafah, Egypt, the UAE addresses not only medical needs but also essential infrastructure concerns.
The ‘Tarahum – for Gaza’ campaign and the admission of 33 Gaza students at the United Arab Emirates University further showcase the nation’s enduring dedication to humanitarian efforts, embodying solidarity and cooperation in supporting the Palestinian people.
