Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Ethiopian Prime Minister Hold Key Talks at G20 Summit in Johannesburg

Johannesburg, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, met with Dr Abiy Ahmed, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit taking place in Johannesburg, South Africa.
During the meeting, both leaders reviewed the prospects for enhancing cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia across various sectors. They also exchanged views on key issues featured on this year’s G20 summit agenda, reaffirming their shared commitment to constructive dialogue and multilateral engagement.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed underscored the importance of continued coordination among all participating countries to ensure the effective implementation of the summit’s outcomes. They highlighted the need to support global efforts aimed at advancing sustainable development goals and promoting long-term economic prosperity.
The meeting was attended by senior UAE officials, including Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment; Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Office of the Crown Prince; and Maryam Eid AlMheiri, Chairperson of Abu Dhabi Media Office and Advisor of Strategic Relations at the Crown Prince Court.
