DIHAD Sustainable Organisation and Pakistan Association Dubai Sign MoU to Advance Sustainable Humanitarian and Healthcare Initiatives

Dubai, The Gulf Observer: The DIHAD Sustainable Organisation and the Pakistan Association Dubai have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a long-term partnership to drive sustainable humanitarian, healthcare, and community development initiatives across the UAE and beyond.

The agreement signifies a pivotal transition from traditional emergency response models toward integrated, development-focused humanitarian efforts, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, education, and capacity-building.

Under the MoU, both organisations will collaborate to implement initiatives in healthcare, education, and social development. A key component of the partnership includes support for the Pakistan Medical Center in Dubai, providing it with essential medical supplies and pharmaceuticals to enable the continued delivery of free medical care to patients of all nationalities.

Further collaborative initiatives will include technical training programmes, volunteer mobilization, awareness campaigns, and the exchange of expertise to strengthen long-term community resilience and self-reliance.

Khaled Al Attar, Director-General of the DIHAD Sustainable Organisation, emphasized the broader vision behind the partnership: “Our mission goes beyond delivering aid; we focus on building integrated development systems that strengthen communities and empower them to become self-reliant. This partnership embodies our vision of global collaboration and sustainable humanitarian impact.”

Dr. Faisel Ikram, President of the Pakistan Association Dubai, echoed the shared commitment to transformative development. “This collaboration will help expand our impact both locally and globally,” he said, highlighting the organisation’s dedication to enhancing healthcare, education, and social welfare through strategic alliances.

The MoU aligns with DIHAD’s global mission, which has positively impacted more than 22.9 million people across 197 countries through over 967 partnerships and €1.4 billion in projects. The organisation is also known for its global humanitarian forums and recent innovations, such as the Smart Learning Room launched in Egypt.

The Pakistan Association Dubai, the sole licensed body representing the Pakistani expatriate community in Dubai, operates the region’s first non-profit healthcare facility of its kind. Its contributions span across healthcare delivery, education support, and repatriation assistance.

This landmark agreement reflects a growing trend in humanitarian work—prioritizing inclusive, long-term development to build stronger, more resilient communities.
