Belarus Appoints Dmitry Pinevich as New Ambassador to Azerbaijan

Minsk, The Gulf Observer: Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko announced on Tuesday the appointment of Dmitry Pinevich as the new Ambassador to Azerbaijan, according to media reports.

Pinevich, who previously served as the Health Minister of Belarus from 2020 to 2024, will now take on the role of representing Belarus in Azerbaijan. He succeeds Andrey Ravkov, who held the ambassadorial position since November 2020.

This appointment highlights Pinevich’s transition from the health sector to a key diplomatic role, further strengthening the bilateral ties between Belarus and Azerbaijan.
