Dubai, The Gulf Observer: Under the esteemed patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Dubai is set to host the 7th Emirates Family Medicine Society Congress 2024, marking a pivotal gathering for family medicine professionals across the GCC and broader Middle East region.

The congress, scheduled from April 22nd to 24th at the Dubai World Trade Centre, serves as a premier annual event, highlighting advancements and discussions in the field of family medicine.

This year’s congress will feature compelling topics such as artificial intelligence in family medicine, the impact of the metaverse on healthcare, and the evolution of primary care centers. Notable attendees include leaders from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the Emirates Genetic Diseases Association, physicians and officials from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Middle East, as well as esteemed international speakers from the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Organized by the Emirates Family Medicine Society under the auspices of the Emirates Medical Association, and in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the congress is set to welcome key figures including Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director General of DHA, Dr. Marwan Al Mulla, CEO of the Health Regulation Sector (DHA), Dr. Ahmed Al Neaimi, CEO of Corporate Shared Support Services Sector (DHA), Fatima Abbas, CEO of Strategy & Corporate Development Sector (DHA), and Mr. Saleh Al Hashimi, CEO of Dubai Health Insurance Corporation, alongside distinguished doctors, officials, and heads of family medicine societies from the Gulf Arab region and the Middle East.
