Egyptian President attends dinner organized by US Chamber of Commerce
Washington, The Gulf Observer: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi participated in the dinner banquet held by the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of relations between Egypt and the United States, said Egyptian Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady in a statement on Friday.
The dinner witnessed an open dialogue with representatives of the American business sector who expressed their interest in working in Egypt or expanding their existing projects.
President Sisi affirmed Egypt’s keenness to discuss ways of overcoming all economic obstacles, expressing his appreciation for the role played by the American Chamber of Commerce and the Egyptian-American Business Council in supporting economic and trade relations between Egypt and the United States.
The attendees praised the economic reform efforts in Egypt, like the measures taken to improve the investment environment and encourage, and major national projects, which contributed to Egypt being a model and success story to be followed at the international level
