Embassy of Turkmenistan Wins Silver at Diplomatic Padel Tournament in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The Embassy of Turkmenistan secured second place at a Friendly Padel Tournament held among members of the Diplomatic Corps in Islamabad, showcasing strong sportsmanship and diplomatic camaraderie.

The tournament was organized by Sitara Ayaz, Secretary General of the International Parliamentarians Congress (IPC), in partnership with Jazz, a leading digital services operator in Pakistan, and the Embassy of Turkmenistan.

Held in an atmosphere of mutual respect and friendly competition, the event brought together diplomats in a spirit of goodwill and collaboration. Demonstrating a high level of preparation, coordinated teamwork, and determination, the Turkmenistan Embassy team delivered an impressive performance to claim the runners-up position, finishing just behind the Embassy of France. The Embassy of Rwanda secured third place in the tournament.

The event concluded with a formal awards ceremony, where winners and participants were honoured for their achievements and participation.

Organizers and attendees emphasized that the tournament served as a valuable platform for enhancing mutual understanding and strengthening bonds within the diplomatic community. They expressed confidence that such initiatives in sports diplomacy will continue to foster dialogue, goodwill, and trust in international relations.
