Erdoğan, Saudi Crown Prince Discuss Yemen, Somalia and Regional Stability

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Türkiye is closely monitoring developments in Yemen and Somalia, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Sunday during a phone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, underscoring the importance of stability and the protection of both countries’ territorial integrity.
According to a statement by the Turkish Communications Directorate, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations as well as key regional and global issues.
President Erdoğan reaffirmed Türkiye’s readiness to contribute to efforts aimed at bringing together the parties in conflict in Yemen, stressing Ankara’s support for dialogue and peaceful solutions to regional crises.
He also noted that Türkiye seeks to further strengthen cooperation with Saudi Arabia and plans to take additional steps to enhance bilateral ties in the coming days.
Addressing the situation in Gaza, Erdoğan warned that the humanitarian crisis is worsening with the onset of winter. He reiterated that Türkiye continues its efforts toward achieving a lasting ceasefire and supporting reconstruction in the war-affected enclave.
The call highlighted ongoing coordination between Ankara and Riyadh on regional stability and humanitarian concerns, the statement said.
