Ethiopia and Pakistan Vow to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Ethiopia and Pakistan have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation during a meeting between Ethiopian Ambassador to Pakistan, Jamal Baker, and Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry Director General, Ambassador Dr. Ahmed Ali Sirohey, in Islamabad.

During the discussions, the two diplomats exchanged views on enhancing economic and security cooperation between their countries. They also explored ways to strengthen people-to-people relations and deepen collaboration between Africa and Pakistan, focusing on areas of mutual interest.

Ambassador Jamal Baker lauded Pakistan’s proactive approach under its “Look Africa and Engage Africa” policy, which aims to build mutual respect and foster mutually beneficial relations with African nations. He expressed Ethiopia’s desire to further strengthen bilateral ties with Pakistan.

Ambassador Dr. Ahmed Ali Sirohey reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to bolstering its partnership with Ethiopia and continuing collaborative efforts with African countries. He emphasized that Pakistan is keen to enhance bilateral relations and contribute to sustainable cooperation.

According to the Ethiopian Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan remains dedicated to maintaining and expanding its engagement with African nations, promoting partnerships that yield tangible benefits for both sides.
