Lavrov Congratulates Iranian Counterpart on Nowruz, Highlights Strategic Ties

Moscow, The Gulf Observer: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has extended congratulations to his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, on the occasion of Nowruz and the New Year, reaffirming the strong and expanding ties between Moscow and Tehran.
In his message on Wednesday, Lavrov expressed satisfaction with the current state of Iran-Russia relations, which were formally elevated to a strategic partnership in January. He highlighted the deepening cooperation between the two nations across multiple sectors and conveyed optimism regarding the continued strengthening of bilateral ties.
