Awaza, The Gulf Observer: H.E. Dr. Jemal Beker participated in pivotal discussions between H.E. Dr. Alemu Sime Feyisa, Minister of Transport and Logistics of Ethiopia, and H.E. Charyar Chetiev, Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, on the sidelines of the UNLLDC3 Conference in Awaza.

The dialogue focused on strengthening bilateral relations through enhanced cooperation in agriculture, agro-processing, and climate change mitigation. The parties also discussed Ethiopia’s notable achievements in food security and agricultural development.

Ethiopia expressed readiness to share expertise and best practices from the Green Legacy and Yelemat Tirufat initiatives of H.E. Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali, Prime Minister of Ethiopia. These flagship programs have been instrumental in driving sustainable agricultural growth and environmental protection in the country.

The meeting marks the beginning of a new era of Ethio-Turkmenistan cooperation, with a shared vision to advance food security and promote sustainable development. Dr. Jemal Beker reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties for mutual benefit.
