Eureka’s Global Innovation Summit Commences in Istanbul
Istanbul, The Gulf Observer: The Global Innovation Summit, hosted by Eureka, began today in Istanbul, addressing key topics such as the green transition, digitalisation, and sustainable economic strategies aligned with global innovation trends. The summit is part of Türkiye’s presidency of Eureka, which spans from 2023 to 2024, and is organized in collaboration with the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TUBITAK).
The two-day summit will feature thematic panels, presentations, country events, and discussions with officials and experts. Over 2,000 high-profile participants, including leading companies, innovation leaders, and industrial organisations from 47 Eureka member countries, are attending the event. The summit offers a platform for stakeholders to form project partnerships and engage in bilateral meetings.
Hasan Mandal, the head of TUBITAK, highlighted the significance of the summit in fostering collaboration and innovation. “Innovative approaches not only address current challenges but also reveal how to respond to future problems,” Mandal stated, noting the considerable work completed on both national and international levels.
The summit is expected to enhance cooperation among Eureka member countries and contribute to global efforts in promoting sustainable and innovative solutions to contemporary issues.
