Global Media Congress set to launch in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The UAE capital Abu Dhabi is fully prepared to host the launch edition of the Global Media Congress (GMC), a rare brainstorming opportunity for hundreds of participants.
The three-day event will begin on Tuesday under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court H.H. Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The GMC, a first-of-its-kind event in the region, will see industry decision-makers, thought leaders, experts, and specialists get together from around the world to discuss the sector’s future.Under the banner “Shaping the future of the media industry”, organizers said that “accelerating change in media throughout the world requires global thought, outlook and collaboration to help businesses align, adapt, and thrive. The launch edition of the Global Media Congress will offer the ideal platform to achieve this. The event will play a key role in facilitating business connections globally and foster brand reinvention in the new media landscape.
The Congress will feature over 1,200 professionals, specialists and influencers from six continents across more than 30 panel discussions and a series of workshops.
More than 162 prominent international speakers will offer insights into the future of media, and over 170 prominent media outlets and companies representing 29 countries will present showcases.
The Congress, organized by ADNEC Group in partnership with the Emirates News Agency (WAM), features a conference and exhibition that provide opportunities for various media institutions to discuss partnerships and cooperation in developing and promoting the media through offering rich, credible and entertaining content.
