Grand Premiere of China Media Group’s 8K Space Film at NUST Receives Enthusiastic Response from Students and Experts

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) hosted the spectacular premiere of China Media Group’s cutting-edge 8K space documentary “Shenzhou-13: Gazing Back from the Cosmos “Outside the Window is The Blue Planet”. The event was met with overwhelming appreciation from students, faculty, and education experts, who praised the film for its stunning visuals, emotional narrative, and inspiring depiction of human curiosity and dreams of space exploration.
The documentary portrays how Chinese children dream of bringing stars back to Earth as gifts—blending imagination with scientific aspiration. It reflects not only China’s advanced visual and technical capabilities but also conveys a powerful message of global beauty, cultural diversity, and human unity.
Federal Minister for Investment, Mr. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, was the chief guest at the event. In his address, he thanked China Media Group and NUST for this initiative and emphasized that Pakistan, like China, can achieve progress through educational advancement and poverty alleviation. He noted that Pakistan-China cooperation will open new avenues in science, technology, and space research, adding that the intergenerational strength of this friendship is fostering growing interest in space sciences among Pakistani students.
Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Pakistan, Mr. Jiang Zaidong, called the program a shining example of China-Pakistan scientific collaboration. He highlighted the film’s 8K technical excellence and the unique experience of filming aboard the Chinese space station, which allowed Pakistani students a rare and immersive view of Earth and space. The Ambassador also shared that China-Pakistan space cooperation dates back to the 1960s and is now entering a new era, with plans to provide Pakistani students with scientific and educational training over the next five years.
NUST Pro-Rector, Mr. Muhammad Arif Malik, praised the film as a remarkable testament to human exploration and discovery. He remarked that it has further ignited scientific awareness and creative thinking among youth.
