Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Tatarstan’s Rustam Minnikhanov Discuss Strengthening Cooperation

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, held a phone conversation with Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation, to discuss prospects for enhancing traditional cooperation based on mutual benefit and equal partnership, according to Turkmenistan’s official media reports on Monday.

During the conversation, Berdimuhamedov expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to the Turkmen delegation during their recent visit to Tatarstan. The leaders highlighted the significance of trade and economic ties in the relationship between Turkmenistan and Tatarstan.

“We intend to continue increasing effective cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan, which is an integral part of Turkmen-Russian interstate relations,” emphasized Berdimuhamedov.

The discussion reaffirmed the commitment of both sides to strengthening their partnership and exploring new avenues for collaboration. At the conclusion of the call, both leaders wished each other health, success in their state responsibilities, and ongoing prosperity for the people of Turkmenistan and Tatarstan.
