Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Promotes Healthy Lifestyle with Bicycle Ride Along Caspian Coast in Awaza

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, took a bicycle ride along the Caspian Sea coast during a working trip to Balkan Velayat, according to official Turkmen media reports on Sunday.

Prior to the ride, the National Leader visited a multifunctional sports complex located in one of the picturesque areas of the National Tourist Zone Awaza, where he completed a series of morning physical exercises, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.

The National Tourist Zone Awaza, officially inaugurated in June 2007, has since evolved into a major hub for international business forums, conferences, cultural festivals, sporting events, and concerts. Known for its modern architectural and engineering designs, the zone continues to undergo systematic development and infrastructure upgrades, in line with Turkmenistan’s strategic vision for boosting tourism and international cooperation.

Awaza’s transformation into a dynamic center of recreation and international engagement reflects the broader national efforts to enhance the country’s tourism sector and strengthen its global appeal.
