H.E. Alisher Tukhtaev and ECOSF President Discuss Strengthening Scientific Collaboration

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: His Excellency Alisher Tukhtaev met with the President of the Economic Cooperation Organization Science Foundation (ECOSF), the esteemed Seyed Komail Tayebi, to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation in science, education, and innovation.

During the meeting, Mr. Tayebi commended Uzbekistan’s progressive reforms in science and technology, emphasizing initiatives such as the “One Million Coders” project, the establishment of presidential schools, and the promotion of green technologies. He lauded these efforts as pivotal in fostering youth development and implementing advanced technologies.

Both sides reached agreements to collaborate on joint research in key areas, including renewable energy, climate change, transport and logistics, as well as the study of scientific and cultural heritage. These projects aim to bolster the friendship between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, paving the way for both nations to emerge as leaders in science, innovation, and sustainable development.
