Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation Sign MoU to Strengthen Humanitarian Cooperation

Turkmenbashi, The Gulf Observer: The Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant step toward strengthening bilateral cooperation in humanitarian, social and cultural fields.

The MoU was signed by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice-President for Medical Activities of the Turkmen charitable foundation. Officials noted that the document lays the groundwork for long-term and productive collaboration, paving the way for joint projects across multiple areas.

During the meeting, both sides underscored the importance of partnership in social development, education, culture and the arts. They emphasized that coordinated efforts would support initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of children and fostering broader humanitarian cooperation.

The discussion highlighted the “MAMA Mother Nature” international art exhibition, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and IDEA Public Union, which has been showcased in several countries as part of global efforts to raise awareness about climate change. It was noted that preparations are underway to bring the exhibition to Turkmenistan, where it is expected to serve as a major platform for cultural exchange and environmental advocacy.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the mutual commitment to expanding cooperation and advancing shared objectives in the fields of social support, culture, and environmental protection.
