HH Sayyid Theyazin Chairs Financial and Economic Committee Session in Al Jabal Al Akhdar

Al Jabal Al Akhdar, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of Oman, chaired a discussion session of the Financial and Economic Committee of the Council of Ministers yesterday in the Wilayat of Jabal Akhdar, located in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.

The session was attended by several ministers and focused on reviewing the Committee’s ongoing work and economic priorities. During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the key findings and recommendations reached in previous sessions of the Committee.

His Highness shared a number of observations and proposals aimed at accelerating economic growth and strengthening the efficiency and competitiveness of the investment environment in the Sultanate. The discussions underscored the importance of coordinated efforts to enhance sustainable development and attract quality investments.

The Financial and Economic Committee convenes regularly to deliberate on pressing economic matters, with particular emphasis on sectors targeted for diversification under the Eleventh Five-Year Plan. The sessions also address employment-related issues, in line with national objectives to generate job opportunities and support long-term economic stability.
