Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: His Excellency Dan Stoenescu, Ambassador of Romania to Pakistan, had the pleasure of meeting with representatives of P@SHA – Pakistan IT Industry Association, including Mr. Ali Hasnain, Secretary General, and Mr. Salman Dar, CEC Member.

P@SHA is the leading representative body of Pakistan’s IT and IT-enabled services industry, bringing together hundreds of companies in software development, BPO, IT services, and emerging technologies. The association plays a vital role in promoting innovation, digital skills, and Pakistan’s IT exports worldwide.

During the meeting, discussions centered on exploring opportunities for cooperation between the Romanian and Pakistani IT sectors. It was mutually decided to organize the Pakistan–Romania Forum for the IT Industry, an initiative aimed at enhancing business partnerships, knowledge exchange, and joint innovation in the digital economy.

His Excellency highlighted that Romania’s IT sector is among the fastest-growing in Europe, powered by innovation, skilled talent, and dynamic startups. He emphasized that Pakistan is a strong potential partner in areas ranging from software development to artificial intelligence.

By connecting the vibrant tech communities of both countries, Romania and Pakistan are building bridges of collaboration and creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs and startups.
