His Majesty King Salman Orders Hosting of 1,000 Palestinian Pilgrims for Hajj 2025

Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has issued royal directives to host 1,000 Palestinian pilgrims — from the families of martyrs, prisoners, and the wounded — to perform Hajj this year at his own expense.
The initiative is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance.
Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs and General Supervisor of the program, expressed deep gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for this noble gesture. He noted that the move reflects the Kingdom’s enduring support for the Palestinian people and its commitment to Islamic solidarity.
Al-Sheikh added that a comprehensive logistical plan is already underway to ensure the comfort and well-being of the pilgrims from the moment they depart Palestine to their return, including their stay in Makkah and Madinah.
Since its launch in 1417 AH, the Guests Program has hosted over 64,000 pilgrims from across the Islamic world, underscoring the Kingdom’s central role in serving Islam and Muslims globally.
