His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Leads Tahlil Ceremony in Remembrance of Late Parents and Son

Bandar Seri Begawan, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, led a solemn Tahlil ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum yesterday in remembrance of his late parents, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman, as well as his late son, Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim.

The ceremony, organized by the Office of His Majesty, was attended by high-ranking officials, including Private and Confidential Secretary to His Majesty Dato Paduka Haji Hamiddon bin Haji Ibrahim. The recitation of Surah Yaasiin, Tahlil, and Doa was led by Religious Officer Muhammad Syafie @ Firdaus bin Tasad.

Also in attendance were Acting Grand Chamberlain Pengiran Haji Raffizanna bin Pengiran Haji Razali, Deputy Private and Confidential Secretary to His Majesty Dato Paduka Awang Haji Rosli bin Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Dato Seri Paduka Haji Md Salleh, along with other officials and staff from the Office of His Majesty.

The gathering reflected Brunei’s deep-rooted traditions of reverence and remembrance, highlighting the significance of faith and unity within the royal family and the nation.
