Human Fraternity Festival to kick off on 4th February
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The Human Fraternity Festival, organised by the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, in cooperation with the Muslim Council of Elders, will begin on 4th February.
The four-day festival will focus on promoting international humanitarian efforts, in general, to send clear messages to local and international communities.
The event will also highlight the UAE’s efforts to promote the values of tolerance, coexistence and human fraternity both locally and globally.
The festival will include the “Global Tolerance and Human Fraternity Summit”, as well as the “International Tolerance Chess Festival,” the Asian Continental Women’s Chess Championship, and other popular activities in schools and universities.
The Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence stressed that the festival is in line with the UAE’s celebration of the International Day of Human Fraternity, and every Emirati should be proud of the UN’s naming of the International Day of Human Fraternity, as it is the outcome of the efforts of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The ministry then lauded the role of the Muslim Council of Elders in organising the Global Tolerance and Human Fraternity Summit, which is one of the festival’s leading activities, as a key partner of the ministry.
