Indonesia Unveils “Rumah Pendidikan” Super-App at EduTech Asia 2025 in Singapore

Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has introduced Rumah Pendidikan (House of Education), Indonesia’s new all-in-one education super-application, during the EduTech Asia 2025 Forum held at Sands Expo, Marina Bay, Singapore.
According to Yudhistira Nugraha, Head of the Ministry’s Data Center and Information Technology, Rumah Pendidikan represents a major milestone in Indonesia’s digital transformation in education, offering inclusive digital learning innovations through three of its eight primary features — the GTK Room, the Students Room, and the Mitra Room (Partners).
“Rumah Pendidikan serves as an integrated platform connecting the entire Indonesian education ecosystem — teachers, students, and partners — in a single digital environment designed to foster collaboration, equity, and improved learning quality,” Nugraha said in a statement on Monday.
The platform was developed to consolidate nearly 300 separate educational applications previously utilized by more than four million teachers and 40 million students across Indonesia’s 17,000 islands.
The GTK Room enables teachers to engage in professional learning, share resources, and collaborate with peers, while the Students Room offers a free and interactive space designed to support curriculum-based, meaningful, and engaging learning experiences. Meanwhile, the Mitra Room serves as a collaborative gateway for public, private, and community sectors to innovate and contribute to the advancement of Indonesia’s education system.
“Rumah Pendidikan is not merely an application but a collective movement to ensure equal access and quality education nationwide,” Nugraha emphasized. “Through cross-sector collaboration, the Ministry aims to demonstrate how technology can enable limitless learning.”
He added that the launch of Rumah Pendidikan at EduTech Asia marks a significant step in showcasing Indonesia’s digital education transformation on the global stage and reinforces the country’s role as a pioneer in technology-driven educational innovation in Asia.
The EduTech Asia 2025 Forum, themed “AI in the Learning Revolution,” explored the convergence of artificial intelligence and pedagogy, serving as a global platform for dialogue, collaboration, and innovation aimed at shaping the future of education in the digital age.
