Indonesian Corner to Be Established at the National Library of Pakistan

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: A Record of Understanding (ROU) has been officially signed to establish the Indonesian Corner at the National Library of Pakistan. The signing ceremony was held at the Indonesian Embassy in Islamabad and was attended by Mr. Rahmat Hindiarta Kusuma, Charge d’Affaires of the Indonesian Embassy, and Raja Javed Iqbal, Director General of the National Library of Pakistan.

This agreement is regarded as a significant step in strengthening cultural and educational ties between Indonesia and Pakistan. The Indonesian Corner will feature a dedicated space to showcase Indonesia’s diverse literature, history, and cultural heritage. It is expected to serve as a hub for promoting mutual understanding and cultural exchange between the two nations.

The Indonesian Corner is scheduled to be inaugurated in mid-February 2025, after which it will be officially opened to the public. Further updates and announcements related to its inauguration and associated events are anticipated soon.
