Iran and Bahrain Reaffirm Commitment to Continued Diplomatic Dialogues

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: The foreign ministers of Iran and Bahrain have reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing diplomatic talks and the exchange of views based on previously reached agreements. The discussion took place during a phone call between Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani and newly appointed Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

During the call, Minister Al Zayani extended his congratulations to Araghchi on his recent appointment and expressed his wishes for success in his new role. He also underscored the importance of Bahrain’s bilateral relations with Iran, expressing optimism that joint political dialogues between Tehran and Manama would progress during this new phase of diplomatic engagement.

In response, Araghchi expressed his gratitude for Al Zayani’s congratulations and for Bahrain’s participation in the inauguration ceremony of President Masoud Pezeshkian. He reiterated Iran’s commitment to enhancing relations with its neighbors, emphasizing that such efforts align with Iran’s neighborhood policy.

Both ministers stressed the importance of continuing discussions and the regular exchange of views in accordance with the agreements already in place, signaling a mutual desire for strengthened diplomatic relations between the two nations.
