Iran and Türkiye Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties and Support for Palestine

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Saeed Khatibzadeh, met with his Turkish counterpart, Nuh Yilmaz, in Ankara on Thursday to discuss bilateral, regional, and Islamic world developments.
During the meeting, both sides underscored the importance of expanding cooperation between Iran and Türkiye across various sectors. They also stressed the urgent need for assistance and support to the oppressed Palestinian people, particularly in the Gaza Strip, highlighting the humanitarian crisis and the ongoing aggression by the Zionist regime. The diplomats called for intensified international efforts to halt the attacks and lift the siege on Gaza.
Khatibzadeh expressed gratitude to the Government and people of Türkiye for their firm stance in condemning the Zionist regime’s aggression against Iran.
Nuh Yilmaz reaffirmed Ankara’s interest in deepening relations with Tehran and announced Türkiye’s readiness to enhance cooperation in multiple areas, including joint efforts to support the Palestinian cause.
