Iran FM Araghchi Reports Further Progress in Diplomatic Engagement with US

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has announced further progress in diplomatic engagement with the United States following the latest round of talks held in Geneva, Switzerland.
In a post published on his X account on Friday, Araghchi stated, “Further progress has been made in our diplomatic engagement with the United States.”
He described the recent round of negotiations as the most intense to date, noting that discussions concluded with a mutual understanding to continue engagement in a more detailed manner on key issues essential to any potential agreement, including the termination of sanctions and nuclear-related steps.
According to the Iranian foreign minister, parallel to the political track, technical teams are scheduled to convene in Vienna in the coming days. He emphasized that the work of these expert teams is as critical as the high-level political discussions.
Araghchi also expressed appreciation to Oman for its continued diplomatic facilitation efforts and extended gratitude to Switzerland for hosting another round of talks.
The renewed diplomatic efforts signal continued engagement between Tehran and Washington aimed at addressing longstanding issues through dialogue and negotiation.
