Iran slams West fresh meddlesome stances

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani has criticized the West’s fresh interventionist statements against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Kanaani’s remarks came on Saturday in reaction to the new interventionist statements of some American and European officials against the Islamic Republic.
Criticizing the West’s interventionist statements, Kanaani said that instead of interfering in the internal affairs of other countries and presenting a seemingly humanitarian face, Western politicians should listen to the voices of their citizens’ protests and spend their time on ensuring their human rights and citizenship demands.
The widespread violation of the basic rights of Western citizens such as freedom of speech, as well as using violence by the police against protesting people in Europe and the US, along with issuing of political statements about the internal laws of other countries, clearly indicate that West uses human rights as a lever to advance their goals and realize illegitimate political interests, he underlined.
It is ridiculous that countries that violate human rights and keep silent in front of the Zionist regime’s crime against Palestinians, even support Zionists, make comments on the implementation of court orders against the criminals who threaten the peace and security of Iranians.
He noted that Europe and the United States do not have the legal, judicial, and moral authority to comment on judicial and human rights issues of other countries.
