Iranian FM Condemns Attack on Lebanese Citizens in Conversation with Lebanese FM
Tehran, The Gulf Observer: In a recent telephone conversation, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi condemned the recent terrorist act perpetrated by the Zionist regime against Lebanese citizens. Araghchi expressed his condolences and solidarity with the Lebanese government, the nation, and the families affected by the tragic incident.
During the call, Araghchi offered to provide assistance for the treatment of the injured and their potential transfer to Tehran. He also highlighted the injury of Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, in the attack and thanked the Lebanese government for its prompt response in providing medical care. Araghchi inquired about the status of the ambassador’s treatment.
In response, Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bouhabib expressed gratitude for Iran’s support and condolences, reaffirming the Lebanese government’s commitment to thoroughly investigate the terrorist incident.
