Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi Meets Hamas Leaders in Doha
Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held discussions with Muhammad Ismail Darwish, Chairman of the Hamas Shura Council, along with other senior members of the council and the movement’s Political Office during his visit to Doha.
Before the meeting with Hamas leaders, Araghchi met with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Jassim Al Thani to discuss regional developments and bilateral relations.
During his engagements, the Iranian foreign minister reviewed the latest developments in Palestine and extended congratulations on what he described as the Palestinian people’s “victory” following 16 months of resistance under the Al-Aqsa Storm campaign.
Araghchi’s meetings come amid ongoing diplomatic efforts by Iran to strengthen ties with regional actors and engage in discussions on the broader geopolitical landscape.
