Azerbaijan Approves 2025–2030 State Program for Transport Infrastructure Development in Baku

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order approving the 2025–2030 State Program aimed at enhancing transport infrastructure in Baku and its surrounding areas.

According to the order, the Cabinet of Ministers will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the program’s implementation, reporting annually to the President, and addressing related matters. Monitoring and evaluation will be conducted by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication at the request of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy have been tasked with ensuring the necessary financial resources for the program within the framework of the state budget and investment programs on an annual basis.

The initiative is expected to improve urban mobility, modernize transportation networks, and support the sustainable development of Azerbaijan’s capital and surrounding regions.
