Iranian President Congratulates Deaf Sports Team on Championship Victory at Asia-Pacific Deaf Games
Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian extended heartfelt congratulations to the nation’s deaf sports team for their exceptional performance at the 10th Asia-Pacific Deaf Games held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In a message on Sunday, President Pezeshkian praised the determination and resilience of the athletes and their coaches, lauding their efforts in bringing pride to the Iranian nation. “This victory is a testament to your unwavering spirit and the support of your dedicated coaches. You have made Iran proud on the international stage,” he stated.
The Iranian team claimed the championship title with an impressive haul of 60 medals, comprising 24 gold, 16 silver, and 20 bronze. Their outstanding achievements secured Iran the top position at the prestigious event, which took place from December 1 to 8.
Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf also commended the team and the Iranian people on this significant accomplishment. In his statement, he acknowledged the athletes’ perseverance and expressed pride in their success.
