Iranian President Offers Condolences on Martyrdom of Hezbollah Leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has expressed his heartfelt condolences on the martyrdom of Hezbollah leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut. In a message issued on Saturday, President Pezeshkian praised Nasrallah for achieving his long-held dream of martyrdom in the pursuit of sacrifice and bravery, as he died at the hands of the Israeli regime.
The president emphasized that the assassination of Nasrallah, ordered by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while addressing the United Nations General Assembly in New York, was not only a crime of the Israeli regime but also a clear indication of the United States’ complicity in the act.
Pezeshkian stressed that despite the loss of its revered leader, Hezbollah’s commitment to resisting oppression will only grow stronger. He affirmed that martyrdom, rather than weakening the Resistance, fortifies its resolve and its cause.
“The martyrdom of leaders like Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah will not diminish the Resistance; it will make it stronger,” Pezeshkian said, adding that Hezbollah will continue its mission in Nasrallah’s absence, shining as a beacon in the fight against oppression.
The Iranian president’s statement underscores the solidarity between Iran and Hezbollah, highlighting the broader geopolitical implications of Nasrallah’s assassination and its impact on the region.
