Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has condemned the actions of the Zionist regime in the West Asia region, stating that it is exploiting divisions among Islamic countries to carry out acts of aggression against Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.

During a meeting with Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat in Tehran on Wednesday, President Pezeshkian emphasized that the Israeli regime’s aggressive behavior towards Muslim-majority countries is a clear indication of its exploitation of differences among Islamic nations.

“This situation shows that the Zionist regime is exploiting division among Islamic countries,” said President Pezeshkian. “They are conducting aggression on Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, killing Muslims. If we put aside our differences, the Islamic world will become more powerful.”

The Iranian president also emphasized the importance of Islamic countries developing their ties and working together to benefit the entire Muslim world. He stressed that by doing so, the “Zionist regime and other powers will not dare commit crimes and interfere in Muslim affairs.”

Furthermore, President Pezeshkian highlighted the need for Islamic nations to resolve their problems in a brotherly manner, rather than just speaking about it.

The Iranian president also touched on the issue of currency transactions with Turkey, stating that his country aims to eliminate the US dollar from its trade with Turkey in response to unfair sanctions imposed by the US and Europe.

Meanwhile, Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat expressed his country’s intention to increase its trade with Iran to $30 billion. He also mentioned that Ankara is committed to renewing its 25-year trade agreement with Iran in the energy sector.

The meeting between President Pezeshkian and Minister Bolat highlights the strong bilateral ties between Iran and Turkey, as well as their shared concerns about regional security and economic cooperation.
