Iranian President to Attend Asian Cooperation Dialogue Summit in Qatar
Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is scheduled to depart for Doha, Qatar, on September 30, where he will participate in the summit meeting of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD). The two-day summit, taking place in the Qatari capital, will bring together leaders from across Asia to discuss economic and cultural cooperation within the region.
During his stay, President Pezeshkian is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with several heads of state from other member countries. These discussions are anticipated to focus on strengthening diplomatic ties and advancing collaborative projects in various sectors, including trade, culture, and sustainable development.
The ACD, which was founded in 2002, consists of 35 member countries and has played a significant role in fostering regional cooperation in Asia. Over the past two decades, the organization has successfully implemented a range of projects aimed at enhancing economic, cultural, and technological integration among its members.
President Pezeshkian’s participation in the summit underscores Iran’s commitment to fostering multilateral cooperation and engaging in regional initiatives aimed at promoting stability and prosperity in Asia.
