Iran’s Acting President Mohammad Mokhber Congratulates Islamic Nations on Eid Al-Adha

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iran’s Acting President Mohammad Mokhber extended his heartfelt congratulations to Islamic nations and governments on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. Mokhber issued his message on Sunday, coinciding with the celebration of Eid Al-Adha in some Islamic countries, while others will observe the holiday on Monday, aligning with the culmination of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
In his message, Mokhber expressed his aspirations that this religious event would be a catalyst for ending the genocide in Gaza and fostering unity within the Islamic Ummah, thereby promoting global peace.
“Eid Al-Adha is a significant occasion that, this year, arrives at a time when the Islamic Ummah is confronted with a grave crisis in occupied Palestine. Despite the ongoing slaughter of innocent people in Gaza by the Zionist regime, Western countries remain inactive,” Mokhber stated.
He emphasized the importance of solidarity and cooperation among Islamic nations in the face of such challenges and reiterated the need for collective efforts to achieve peace and justice in the region.
The Acting President’s remarks underscore the deep concerns of the Iranian government regarding the situation in Gaza and highlight the broader call for unity and action within the Islamic world during this important festival.
Eid Al-Adha, known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” is one of the most significant holidays in Islam, commemorating the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. It is marked by communal prayers, feasts, and acts of charity, reflecting the values of sacrifice, faith, and community.
