IRGC Launches Widespread Missile Strikes Across Israel in Major Tactical Shift

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: In a marked escalation, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran carried out its 21st missile operation on Monday morning, launching a large-scale coordinated missile and drone attack against multiple locations in the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to an official statement issued by the IRGC, the operation utilized a combination of solid- and liquid-fueled ballistic missiles, alongside suicide drones, to strike a wide range of targets stretching from the northern to the southern parts of Israel. The IRGC emphasized that this latest offensive reflected a strategic expansion in operational scope compared to previous strikes that were largely concentrated on Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Initial assessments and local sources confirmed that the targeted areas included northern Haifa, Haifa proper, Tel Aviv, Ashkelon, Acre, and Ashdod. Further reports indicated that impacts were also recorded in Safed, Lachish (located south of Tel Aviv), and Beit She’an. The operation reportedly caused significant damage and triggered prolonged air raid sirens across several cities.

Israeli media outlets described the attack as resulting in one of the most extended and intense air raid alerts experienced in recent memory, leading to widespread disruption and public distress throughout the affected regions.

This latest operation marks the 21st round of missile and drone strikes launched by Iran since the onset of hostilities and is viewed by observers as a significant shift in Tehran’s military posture. By expanding the geographic range of its targets, the IRGC has signalled its intent to broaden the scope of the confrontation.
