Isaiah Taylor’s Buzzer-Beater Lifts Dubai Basketball to Thrilling 80-79 Victory Over Spartak Subotica

Dubai, The Gulf Observer: Isaiah Taylor’s last-second drive secured a dramatic 80-79 win for Dubai Basketball against Spartak Subotica, propelling their ABA League record to 4-1.
Taylor, who scored the decisive basket with just 2 seconds remaining, was instrumental in the victory, but the Dubai Basketball fans also played a crucial role. With 55 seconds left, Spartak’s Rasir Bolton, the ABA League’s top point scorer and MVP contender, missed one of two free throws as the crowd’s intensity mounted, setting up Taylor’s game-winning heroics.
The win was a collective effort for Dubai Basketball, with several players contributing on both ends of the floor. NBA veteran Davis Bertans delivered a stellar performance, sinking five of six three-point shots and finishing with 17 points. Team captain Klemen Prepelic and Awudu Abass were pivotal on defense, each pulling down 7 rebounds.
The victory further solidifies Dubai’s position as a strong contender in the ABA League this season.
