Israeli Air Strikes Kill Dozens in Gaza as Blinken Departs Without Truce Agreement

Gaza City, The Gulf Observer: Israeli air strikes across Gaza have killed at least 50 Palestinians in the past 24 hours, according to Palestinian health officials. The escalation in violence comes after U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken concluded his latest visit to the region without securing a truce.

As diplomatic efforts falter, the Israeli military reported that its jets targeted around 30 sites across Gaza, claiming to have killed dozens of fighters and seized weapons, including explosives, grenades, and automatic rifles.

In a particularly devastating strike, 13 Palestinians, including children and women, were killed in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, in the past few hours, as reported by medical sources to Anadolu Agency. Additionally, an Israeli strike hit a school and a nearby house in Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of at least three people and injuries to 15 others, according to the enclave’s Civil Emergency Service.

The surge in violence underscores the deteriorating situation in Gaza, as international efforts to broker a ceasefire remain elusive. The ongoing conflict has further strained the humanitarian situation in the densely populated enclave, with civilian casualties continuing to rise.
