Israeli Army Issues New Evacuation Order for Southern Gaza Regions

Gaza, The Gulf Observer: The Israeli army has issued a new evacuation order for parts of Khan Younis and Rafah in southern Gaza. Witnesses report that many residents are fleeing the area in response to the directive.

This latest order comes as hundreds of thousands had already left Rafah ahead of and during a ground offensive launched by Israeli troops on the southernmost city since early May. The warning, disseminated via social media and an official statement, targets residents of Al Qarara, Bani Suhaila, and other towns in the Khan Younis and Rafah governorates.

The announcement follows Israel’s statement that 20 “projectiles” were fired into Israel from the Khan Younis region. The situation remains tense as both sides brace for further developments.
