Israeli Army Storms Tulkarm in Northern Occupied West Bank
Tulkarm, The Gulf Observer: The Israeli army has once again stormed the city of Tulkarm in the northern occupied West Bank, escalating tensions in the region.
State-run Palestine TV reported that Israeli forces “entered Tulkarm from its southwestern axis.” The incursion led to intense gunfire around a besieged house in the Azbat al-Jarad area, where the army targeted the structure with a suicide drone, according to the report.
This latest incursion into Tulkarm occurred just hours after the Israeli army had withdrawn from the city, during which five Palestinians were killed. The renewed military action has heightened fears of further violence and instability in the area.
