Kazakh President Congratulates Journalists on National Print Media Day

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan on Monday extended his congratulations to journalists on the occasion of National Print Media Day, highlighting the vital role of the mass media in building a Just Kazakhstan and in upholding the principles of law and order, Akorda reported.

In his message, the head of state emphasized the responsibility of the press in supporting constitutional reform and other major transformations aimed at a comprehensive reset of the country’s political system. He called on media professionals to carry out constructive work in covering these reforms in an objective and responsible manner.

President Tokayev stressed that safeguarding Kazakhstan’s sovereignty and independence remains a key objective for all citizens, regardless of nationality or religious affiliation. He underlined the importance of responsible and constructive patriotism, as well as respect for the rule of law, in achieving these goals.

Expressing confidence in the country’s journalists, Tokayev said he was assured that domestic media representatives would take an active role in this critically important process. He concluded by wishing journalists continued success in their professional endeavors.
