Kazakh President Signs Implementation Plan for National Congress Initiatives

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a comprehensive plan for the implementation of initiatives announced at the IV session of the Ulttyq Qurultay (National Congress), according to the News Hub Consultants.

The plan, drafted by the Presidential Administration and the Government, includes 53 key action items aimed at advancing humanitarian and socioeconomic development in the country.

Humanitarian Initiatives

As part of the humanitarian agenda, the plan outlines the development of the Children of Kazakhstan integrated program, the establishment of National Digital Archives, and the construction of new theaters in various regions. Additionally, measures will be taken to support national theaters, open Abai Institutes abroad, and establish an international fund for biodiversity protection.

Socioeconomic Projects

The socioeconomic aspect of the plan focuses on several major initiatives, including:

  • Further development of the Comfortable School national project.
  • Modernization of 1,300 schools within the next three years.
  • Construction of rehabilitation centers for children with special needs in every region.
  • Establishment of new rehabilitation centers for people with disabilities.
  • Execution of large-scale infrastructure projects in 2025-2026.
  • Launching 200 investment projects annually over the next four years.

State Counselor Yerlan Karin emphasized that the initiatives outlined by the President at the IV session of the Ulttyq Qurultay define the long-term developmental trajectory of Kazakhstan, guiding both the government and society towards sustainable progress.

The IV session of the Ulttyq Qurultay was held in Burabay on March 14, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss the country’s future development strategies.
