Kazakhstan, Latvia Discuss Expanding Cooperation Across Trade, Transport and Agriculture

Astana, The Gulf Observer: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Arman Issetov, met on Friday with Latvian Ambassador Dace Rutka to discuss the current state and future prospects of Kazakh-Latvian cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Kazakhstan reported.
During the meeting, both sides examined bilateral collaboration across political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. Particular emphasis was placed on expanding cooperation in the transport and logistics sector, as well as in agriculture, recognizing their key role in boosting mutual trade volume.
The diplomats expressed readiness to continue close collaboration across various areas of mutual interest and reviewed the schedule of bilateral events for 2026.
Following the discussions, Deputy Minister Issetov and Ambassador Rutka reaffirmed their commitment to sustaining a substantive dialogue and further deepening comprehensive cooperation between Kazakhstan and Latvia.
