Kazakhstan President Commends Turkmen Leader for Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan has sent a letter to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, expressing deep appreciation for his significant contributions to fostering Kazakh-Turkmen relations and enhancing Turkmenistan’s international stature, according to TDH reports.
In his letter, President Tokayev highlighted the robust and positively evolving relationship between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, characterized by friendship, good-neighborliness, and strategic partnership. He acknowledged Berdimuhamedov’s pivotal role in making Turkmenistan a model of responsible regional partnership, fostering trust and collaboration.
The Kazakh President also praised Turkmenistan’s initiatives during the International Year of Peace and Trust, declared by the UN General Assembly at Turkmenistan’s suggestion. He emphasized the importance of these initiatives in addressing global challenges and promoting peace, trust, and solidarity worldwide.
President Tokayev reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to supporting Turkmenistan in achieving its goals of sustainable and secure regional development, underscoring the enduring spirit of cooperation between the two nations.
