Kazakhstan: Wheat yield expected to 14 million tons

Astana, The Gulf Observer: Wheat yield in Kazakhstan will make 14 million tons in 2022-2023 marketing year, according to forecast.
Compared to the previous year, the growth will make 18.5%.
Export is expected at the level of 9 million tons, which is by 6.5% higher than the year before.
The marketing year for Kazakhstan wheat lasts from September 1 to August 31.
Import of wheat from Kazakhstan made around 2.7% of overall yield in January-October 2022 or 4,800 tons, according to the National Statistical Committee.
